Re4ormed Organics has provided consulting and construction services to Ace Sarich Associates, which constructed and has maintained the U.S. Naval Academy’s anaerobic digester in Annapolis, MD.  This system processes pulped food waste from the Midshipmen dining facility into electricity, and serves as a proof-of-concept of this scalable, affordable, and deployable source of renewable electricity.  The Waste-to-Watts program was funded by the Chief of Naval Operations Rapid Innovation Cell and is currently in spiral 2 of development.  This 100kw system can process up to 40 tons of pre- and post-consumer food waste per month and can produce 40,000 kWh of renewable electricity per month.
